The Longing

An original idea from 2012, this was a quick one. I remember writing and conceiving it on one evening, more or less in first takes.

The new, re-recorded version is a nearly identical re-creation of the original demo that got lost through the years. It was a pleasant surprise to find 'The Longing' when digging through my archives.

The whole song was already there. I just had to record it properly.

I love it and I hope you enjoy it, too.
